Staying healthy and connected as the semester winds down

LeChase Hall in winter

Dear students,

As the semester wraps up and the holidays approach, many of you may feel extra pressure. Remember, you’re part of a caring community with support here for you. Here are some resources to help.

Connect with Health & Well-Being Resources:

  • Counseling Center: Access free, 24/7 therapy and other services. Schedule your first appointment at (585) 275-3113 or through UHSCONNECT.

  • CARE Resource Center: Find resources for anxiety, academics, health advice, and more. Visit the Rochester CARE Resource Center online for a comprehensive look at what resources you have available to you as a University student.

  • Group Therapy: UCC offers group therapy sessions tailored for various student groups on topics such as stress management, writing anxiety, and more. Call (585) 275-3113 or sign up through UHSConnect for an initial assessment to learn more and get connected.

Stay Active with Campus Recreation:
Check the events calendar for activities hosted by the Student Success and Equity & Inclusion offices to connect with the Warner community.

Get Academic Support:
The Office for Student Success offers various resources to support your academic success, including:

  • Career Services: Access online tools, consultations for career needs, and more. Get started today.

  • Writing Support Services: Take advantage of free individual consulting sessions, workshops, and other writing resources. Learn more.

  • Quantitative Consulting Services: Get research assistance. Consultants are available to assist with—not conduct—analyses of your data. Schedule an appointment.

As the semester comes to an end, we’re here to help you finish strong. Remember to take advantage of these resources, stay connected, and reach out for support if needed. Your well-being and success are our top priorities, and we’re committed to helping you thrive both now and in the semesters to come.
