She also served as a project coordinator for the Transition and Postsecondary Programs for Students with Intellectual Disability (TPSID). This initiative required her to provide technical assistance to the City University of New York (CUNY) over five years as they developed programs for students with intellectual disability. During this same time, she worked with the East Educational Partnership Organization to improve transition services for students with disability. Judge-Diegert is a veteran educator with over 20 years of experience teaching in a correctional facility and 30 years of experience managing disability-focused non-profits in the greater Rochester area. These experiences have led to a strong commitment to improving equity and access to higher education for people with disabilities.At the University of Rochester, she provides technical assistance to faculty and staff regarding disability accommodations. She is also a member of the Think College National Coordinating Center Accreditation Workgroup, a Think College consultant for higher education accreditation, co-leads the New York State Inclusive Higher Education Coalition, and co-chairs the Northeast Postsecondary Alliance.Judge-Diegert’s teaching and research interests are focused on disability and higher education.
